STP & Wolfmother Rocked!
My favorite experience was standing near a fence on their last song, Joker and the Thief, Joker and the Thief, near this fence, and the lead singer jumped up on this platform right next to me so close I could strum his guitar. What a cool experience! Both lead singers needed to eat their microphone a little more so we can understand a little bit what they're saying, but both full of energy and just fun (especially Eagles of Death with their dueling guitars on the end song). Wolfmother brought the juice, too, and did two great covers with Riders on the Storm and Baba O'Reily. Of course, **Jim Jefferies** was the main reason to come. Scott and the boys rocked, as always, and laid out a great set that did justice to their discography. Jim Jefferies was the main reason to come. My buddy and I moved within 20 feet of the stage and got a larger-than-life view of **Jim Jefferies** that was unbelievable! The crowd answered with energy and enthusiasm the entire time. As far as the other acts and venue went, I could have done without the Jim Rose Circus and all the profanity and vulgar descriptions flying. I'm not a prude, but I thought it was irritating and unnecessary. Also, the Monkey Rock doesn't need to have a flesh farm walking around: women wearing nothing on their chest but body paint and pole dancers inside the tent. A concert can be just as fun without all that. That aside, great experience overall.
